Pasokos (Sturgeon)
Basket woven to commemorate the return of the Atlantic Sturgeon to the Penobscot River. Birch bark incorporated into the cover represents birch bark torches my Penobscot ancestors used to hunt the fish at night. Basket is in the permanent collection of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.
